Desired Candidate
Student must be a junior or senior at a university. The applicant needs a general knowledge of business principles. Also, it is preferred that the applicant likes travel/adventure, as they will be working in that industry.
A student with Adobe Photoshop or Premiere experience would also have a huge opportunity for marketing content creation, but it is not a requirement. The intern will, however, be given the opportunity to learn those areas if they wish.
Description/Responsibilities
General Business or Marketing Intern
The company is web-based (although we film on-site), so much of our strategy involves SEO, online marketing, and social media. The intern will be able to test out the newest online marketing strategies. The responsibilities would involve:
- Discussing social media outlets and target markets
- Running and evaluating effectiveness of facebook, twitter, pinterest, or google ads
- Helping update social media and testing out new social media strategies
- Helping create relevant content for website
- Brainstorming new ideas for product launches
- Researching target market needs
- Looking at new income streams, such as sponsorships and banner ads
